Hi There,
Do you know any young people aged 13 to 25 or individuals aged 55+ who are passionate about music? We have an incredible opportunity for two groups of 10 people each to collaborate, create, and record a song, which will be pressed onto vinyl and added to the British Library's prestigious music collection.
If this sounds like someone you know, please fill in this short expression of interest form .
In celebration of our current exhibition, "Beyond the Bassline: 500 Years of Black British Music," we're thrilled to offer this unique Community Engagement project. This is an exciting chance for local Camden residents to work with expert musicians and producers in a hands-on music production experience.
Over the course of five weeks in June, 20 lucky participants will gain invaluable insight into record and vinyl manufacturing, all while contributing to Camden's rich Black British Music history. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and passion for music!

Expression of Interest Deadline: 22 June 2024
We can't wait to see the creativity and talent that will emerge from this project. Please share this exciting opportunity with your networks and help us bring the community together through the power of music!
