Our Salsa Night

Salsa Lessons with Pat M’Bella

The cafeteria & Kitchen

Summary:

On January 27th, 2024, we hosted our highly anticipated £10 Salsa Night featuring the talented Pat M’Bella. Attendees arrived ready to show off their dance moves and enjoy a night filled with latin music, a good atmosphere, and warm delicious food. This was a charity fundraising event to help St Pancras Community Association raise funds for our Community Kitchen and Warm Space. Our goal was to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all attendees to bond over their shared love for the community, Salsa and Chilli.

Food Preparations:

Hani, our kitchen volunteer

Our dedicated volunteer and professional chef, Hani, spent the afternoon in the community kitchen, carefully selecting tomatoes and finest herbs to create a homemade chilli. The Chilli, only £5, was served with a portion of rice, tortillas, Salsa, and sour cream. A self-serving station was set up for adding any extra toppings. In addition to the homemade Chilli, there were also snack options available, such as popcorn, delicious cupcakes, and tortilla chips served with a homemade salsa dip. For drinks we had homemade fruity cocktails for just £5, beers and wine.
