We’re all going on a summer holiday!
We have organised a group holiday for our Golden Years members for 4 nights from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd September at the Cavendish Hotel in Eastbourne. This includes single occupancy room, breakfast, and dinner. The hotel has accessible rooms and is on the seafront.
The Cavendish does not have any live entertainment so we have also booked a function room for two nights and after dinner we can sit together play board games, bingo or have a sing-a-long.
We will have a member of staff (Terry) and a volunteer available throughout the holiday so the cost of the holiday includes a small contribution towards staff costs and function room hire. The cost of the holiday is £285 per person (£71.25 per night, including VAT). The coach journeys to and from Eastbourne are being paid by Autotrader.
There is no set itinerary planned for the holiday, members will have free time during the day to explore Eastbourne or visit neighbouring Beachy Head or Brighton.
If you would like to go, there are only 28 places available so you need to come into SPCA and pay a £50 deposit to secure your place, this amount will go towards the total cost of your holiday.
The cost of the holiday – £285 – needs to be paid in full by Friday 19th August at the latest. You can pay small amounts weekly or as and when you can up to this date.
So the holiday can go ahead we need to have at least 25 people booked. If we have less than 25 then the trip may have to be cancelled as SPCA does not have the funds available to pay the additional cost. Should the holiday be cancelled then all money will be refunded. Please be aware if you cancel after 19th August we may not be able to give you a full refund as the hotel will have been paid in full, and due to their cancellation policy, they will not refund us if we cancel a room. Please consider taking out holiday insurance in case you need to cancel.
- Only 28 spaces available
- £50 deposit required to confirm your booking – total cost £285
